Sept. 25 has been designated as National “If You See Something, Say Something” Awareness Day.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security campaign is to “inspire, empower and educate the public on suspicious activity reporting” to help prevent future tragedies.

To keep yourself and communities safe, always pay attention to your surroundings, recognize the signs of suspicious activity and report any suspicious activity.
