PLAINFIELD, Ind. — An Indiana man is accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl in the back of an SUV at an apartment complex, according to court documents.

Matthew Edward Woolard, 26, of Plainfield, was charged with child molesting, public indecency and public nudity, according to documents filed in Hendricks County Superior Court.

According to court documents, a Plainfield Police Department officer responded at 9:40 p.m. after receiving a tip about a "suspicious vehicle" in the parking lot of the Gladden Farms apartment complex, WRTV reported.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the officer found Woolard naked in the back seat in the vehicle with a "very young girl," WXIN reported.

According to court documents, Woolard initially told police he had spilled something on his pants and needed to change, WTTV reported. Woolard later told police he was watching pornography on his cellphone while babystting and pulled over for privacy, court documents said.

According to court documents, Woolard told police the girl woke up, and he engaged in a sex act and had the child participate, WRTV reported.
