Baltimore Police received multiple calls after 12:30 a.m. about a shooting that took place in one of the city’s residential neighborhoods in the 800 block of Gretna Court, Baltimore Police Acting Commissioner Richard Worley said, according to CNN.

When officers arrived, they found one 18-year-old woman dead at the scene and nine others suffering from gunshot wounds. The nine were transported to area hospitals for further care.

At the hospital, a 20-year-old who was injured in the shooting succumbed to his injuries and died, CBS News said.

20 other victims walked into local hospitals across the city suffering from gunshot wounds that were all traced back to the shooting at Gretna Court.

Three of the shooting victims were in critical condition and, as a result, being carefully monitored by the medical staff at their respective hospitals.

No suspects were arrested following the shooting. Investigators continued to review surveillance footage to attempt to identify, then locate any suspects connected to the incident.

Police asked anyone with information to call Baltimore Police homicide detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott described the incident as a “reckless, cowardly act that happened here and that has permanently altered many lives and cost two people their lives.”

The shooting “highlights the impacts and the need to deal with the overproliferation of illegal guns on our streets and the ability for those who should not have them to get their hands on them,” Scott continued.

“We will not stop until we find you—and we will find you,” Scott finally stated. “Until then, I hope with every single breath that you take that you think about the lives that you took and you think about the lives that you impacted here tonight.”
