FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — An owner and his dog were reunited after the dog went missing following a New Year's Eve crash in Florida, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said.
The Sheriff's Office said detectives returned to the crash site daily to search for Max the Chihuahua. They even left out food for him hoping he would return.
On Saturday, Max returned to the crash site.
As soon as Max’s owner got to the scene, Max ran to him and they were reunited.
In a video tweeted by the Sheriff's Office, Max hops into his owner's arms and the two share a sweet moment together.
