Ohio Stadium could see full capacity for Buckeye games this fall

The Ohio State University football team told its fan base to be patient, and that hopefully soon, Ohio Stadium will be filled to watch the Buckeyes play.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s Athletic Director, Gene Smith, told our news partners at 10TV in Columbus that Ohio Stadium will be filled with fans this fall at full capacity.

Smith told 10TV, “that if all things stay the course with COVID-19, games will be at full capacity and fans can tailgate.”

OSU’s first home-opening game is scheduled for Sept. 11. It has been nearly two years since Ohio Stadium as seen full capacity.
