Public Health hosts multiple COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics this week

DAYTON, Ohio — Public Health – Dayton and Montgomery County announced Monday afternoon that it is holding multiple COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week in communities throughout Montgomery County.

According to a press release, the clinics are designed to bring the COVID-19 vaccine to local neighborhoods in an effort to remove barriers to getting the vaccine.

Health officials said the vaccine is free of charge and no appointments are needed.

Patients will have the option of choosing either the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, which is one dose or the Pfizer vaccine, which is a two-dose shot given at least three weeks apart.
