Riverside laundromat to offer curbside services

RIVERSIDE — Patrons of a Riverside Laundromat are now able to receive curbside service, and may stay in the car while their clothes are washed and dried beginning April 11.

Curbside services cost only what it costs to wash and dry the clothes, laundromat owner Tane Smith said in an email, and first responders and health care workers will be serviced free of charge with a valid ID.

Customers should call 937-308-6908 to notify employees they are in the parking lot with their clothes and laundry soap ready.

The laundromat has taken additional precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19, including the removal of chairs and folding tables from the facility and sanitation every hour.

Those who choose to not utilize the curbside services are asked to remain in their car while not moving their clothes in and out of the washers and dryers.

At Your Service Laundry will also be making a donation to the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund to assist those in the local restaurant industry.
