Local SICSA supporters and volunteers are coming together to draw portraits of your pets on Giving Day, according to a spokesperson with SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center.

On Tuesday, Nov. 29th., SICSA is offering “Mediocre Pet Portraits” to owners that sign up to participate through SICSA’s fundraiser social media page.
“The definition of mediocre is ordinary, common or average. That accurately describes how many of us draw,” CEO and President of SICSA, Nora Vondrell, said. “With that in mind, our Giving Tuesday event was appropriately named Mediocre Pet Portraits. No one thinks of their pets as ordinary, but for a minimum donation of $10 to SICSA on Giving Tuesday, we’ll provide a Mediocre Pet Portrait of their pet.”

Participants can place their donation on SICSA’s fundraiser facebook page and then upload a photo of their pet in the comments section, the spokesperson said. The portraits will be uploaded into a ‘Giving Tuesday Mediocre Pet Portraits Photo Album’ later in the day.
People can pick up their completed drawings from SICSA’s Adoption Lobby during business hours once the event wraps up, according to the spokesperson. SICSA is located at 8172 Washington Church Road in Dayton.
