St. Patrick’s Day was the first holiday in 2020 impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
This year, bars and restaurants have plans to safely celebrate one of Dayton’s favorite holidays.
The Dublin Pub
The Dublin Pub will be hosting an all-day party, starting with breakfast and Guinness at 5:30 am.
They’ll also have live music throughout the day.
Their parking lot will be open for guests and reservations are available online for indoor seating and bar space only.
Troll Pub
Troll Pub in Dayton will be hosting live music from Full Frontal, Ithika, and Smooth Takeover with TJ Smooth.
They’ll have an Irish heritage-inspired menu and beer trucks galore!
Shamrock Shuffle 5K
St. Patrick Catholic Church and School are hosting a 5K at Troy Stadium on March 20.
Participants can purchase their tickets beforehand by visiting the Shamrock Shuffle’s website.
In the interest of safety, there will be no breakfast after the race for 2021. Awards will follow the race at Troy Memorial Stadium.
The Caroline to become O’Caroline’s for the day
Troy’s The Caroline will be serving a St. Patrick’s Day special from 4-9 p.m.

McKinley’s Pub
The Fairfield McKinley’s Pub will be hosting a themed event with lots of green beer and food supplied by The Best Thing Smokin food truck.

St. Patrick’s Day At Lock 27 Brewing
Lock 27 Brewing is celebrating today with musical guest Dennis O’Hagan as a part of his Great Brewery Tour.

Jimmie’s Ladder 11
Jimmie’s Ladder 11 in Dayton will be pouring some local craft beers along with Irish-inspired food and drink.
Festivities will be available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today.
