FEMA is urging homeowners, renters and business owners to protect themselves against future disasters with coverage from the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
Floods are the most common and costly natural disasters in the U.S. Just an inch of water in an average-sized home can cause over $25,000 in damage, a cost that’s rarely covered by standard homeowner or renter’s insurance.
