Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to a two-car crash on Northbound Interstate 71 near Fields Ertel Road around 11 a.m., according to our news partners at WCPO.

Shirley Coletta, 76 of Cincinnati, was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Trax when it was hit by a 2016 Hyundai Genesis operated by Samuel Sperry, 25, of Cincinnati, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

A preliminary investigation said both vehicles went off the right side of NB I-71 and caused the Chevrolet to roll over. Coletta was pronounced dead at the scene.

Patricia Jump, 54 of Cincinnati, was transported to Bethesda North with serious injuries, O.H.S.P. said.

Mutual aid was provided by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Deerfield Township Fire and EMS and Ohio Department of Transportation.

Speed, alcohol and drugs are suspected and the crash remains under investigation.
