CLEVELAND — A German Shepard, named ‘Indiana Jones,’ has been reunited with his family after being rescued from a northeast Ohio river.

Cleveland Metroparks Police Department and Berea Fire responded to a report of a dog stuck on a rock in the middle of the Rocky River.
Members from a technical rescue team, Five Parma Fire SERT, helped other officials rescue Indy that evening, according to a social post from the fire department.

Rainfall that week made the water levels high and created difficult conditions for crews to work in. Luckily, crews were able to save Indy without any additional complications.
Last week Indiana Jones visited the first responder team who rescued him at Cleveland Metroparks Police Headquarters.
