The shooting took place at approximately 5:15 p.m. late Saturday afternoon in a U.D.F. parking lot on Red Bank and Madison Roads, WCPO reports.

Theetge said there was a grey sedan in the U.D.F. parking lot that matched the description of a car that officers in the area were pursuing for an O.V.I. call, WCPO said.
While it has not been confirmed the two incidents were related, Theetge did confirm that the vehicle found in the U.D.F. lot was reported stolen.
Theetge also said that a gun was recovered at the scene of the shooting, according to WCPO. There is no word on what led to the incident.
The suspect’s gun was loaded with a round in the chamber, according to a statement from Dan Hils, Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police president, WCPO reports.
Cincinnati Police will hold a press conference Sunday to provide more information.
