Man flown to hospital after being shot in Wayne County

WAYNE CO. — A man was flown to the Miami Valley Hospital after being shot in Wayne County.

Officers were dispatched Tuesday at 4 a.m. to the 100 block of North Davis Street in Dublin on initial reports of a 26-year-old man accidentally shot by a female, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

CareFlight flew the victim to Miami Valley Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Mutual aid was provided by the Hagerstown and Centerville (IN) Police Departments as well as the Dublin Fire Department and Reid EMS.

The shooting remains under investigation.
