The meeting is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m., according to Facebook posts by both Columbus city schools and the teacher unions.
This will be the first meeting between the two groups since last Thursday when the union struck down the district’s latest offer and voted to go on strike Sunday evening, WBNS reports.
The two sides have not agreed to a new contract despite meeting 22 times since March.
The issues include demanding better infrastructure for Columbus buildings, smaller class sizes, function HVAC, and other issues, according to WBNS.
The meeting comes as students are also scheduled to begin remote learning today.
