Lachelle Jordan, 30, walked into a convenience store in Cleveland just after 11 p.m. Friday, according to surveillance video.
She asked the clerk for the store phone and used it to call 9-1-1.
Jordan had been missing since May 6 and is recovering at the Cleveland Clinic.
“When I first stepped up to something like this, I had one small request and that was to bring my daughter home safely,” said Joseph Jordan, Lachelle’s father. “With the support of law enforcement, media, EMS, community, and everybody that wanted to be somebody, that request was granted.”
She told officers she was able to run away from her kidnappers after they tried to kill her.
