Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted announced last Thursday new online services that they say will make it more convenient for people to interact with the OHIO Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV).

This will be available to U.S. citizens between the ages of 21 and 64 who already have a four-year driver’s license or ID card, DeWine said Thursday.

In addition, online services that allow Ohioans to transfer a vehicle title online when dealing with a person-to-person sale through the Ohio Title Portal start on July 11, the governor announced Thursday.

The OHIO BMV is also attempting to streamline the driver examination process by soon offering the traffic laws test online instead of in person, DeWine said Thursday.

DeWine also said Thursday that his administration is dedicated to improving and enhancing the overall customer experience for Ohioans needing to the visit the BMV by providing access to innovative options that better meet their needs.
