TOLEDO — A tornado that ripped through northern Ohio was caught on video by a nearby resident.

A resident driving in the Point Place neighborhood of Toledo, Ohio, captured footage of a whirling tornado ripping through a suburban area and posted it to social media.
The tornado evidently tore a roof off of a structure and whipped trees as well as shrubbery around.
Nearby news outlets reported that there was lots of damage left behind.
It is currently unknown if anyone was injured during the natural weather event.
The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings for multiple counties in northwest Ohio starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
