Wayne County, Ind. man arrested on drug charges in Richmond

RICHMOND, IND — A Wayne County man is facing multiple drug charges after being stopped by Richmond Police on Thursday.

Officers stopped Shawn Christopher Lee Farrow, of Centerville, Indiana, on March 23 in the 400 block of North 19th Street initially for not having a valid driver’s license, Richmond Police said on social media.

They observed and later seized a large amount of U.S. currency in his vehicle, during the investigation.

While Farrow was in custody at the Wayne County Jail on the driving offense, officers discovered multiple illegal drugs concealed on him.

He is facing felony drug charges of Dealing in Methamphetamine and Dealing in Cocaine or a Narcotic Drug, according to Richmond Police.

Farrow is also facing a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license.

The investigation was a joint effort of the Richmond Police Department, Wayne County Drug Task Force, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and Centerville Police Department.
