Police said a suspected drunk driver was taken to the hospital after a head-on crash on I-675.
Officers said the woman driver was driving south in the northbound lanes of I-675 when she hit another car head-on near the Col. Glenn Highway around 2:40 a.m. Officers said five people inside the other car were not injured, updating an earlier number.
The woman driver, who police did not identify, was transported to Soin Medical Center for observation according to Beavercreek police.
Police believe the woman entered the highway from a Fairborn exit, but were unsure how long she traveled the wrong way.
Officers said the woman is facing citations, but charges have not yet been filed, pending an investigation.

All lanes of northbound I-675 near the Col. Glenn Highway have reopened, according to Beavercreek police.

Beavercreek police said a woman was believed to be driving under the influence when she drove the wrong way on I-675 and crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Officers said the driver was traveling south in the northbound lanes of I-675 when she crashed into another vehicle near the Col. Glenn Highway in Beavercreek
The woman only suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment according to police. Three people were in the other vehicle, but none of them suffered injuries.
The left and center lanes remain blocked until the vehicles can be towed from the scene.
It wasn’t immediately known what charges or citations the driver may face.
FIRST REPORT
State troopers said a wrong-way driver caused a head-on crash on I-675 in Beavercreek early Saturday morning.
Troopers said only minor injuries were reported in the crash that occurred near the Col. Glenn Highway exit of northbound I-675 around 2:45 a.m.
Medics were dispatched to evaluate at least one person, with injuries reported as being minor.
The left and center lanes are blocked for the investigation.
