OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich. — Authorities on Thursday arrested a person suspected of drunken driving after a woman stopped on suspicion of drunken driving called them for help, Michigan State Police said.
The incident happened in Otsego County, where troopers stopped a woman on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Authorities did not elaborate on what prompted the stop.
“The woman called a friend for help during the stop,” troopers said in a statement posted on social media. “The friend arrived and was also arrested for OWI.”
Officials said the pair “had been drinking together earlier while playing trivia.” Authorities did not identify the two.
