Snoopy and the gang will be back on broadcast TV this month, with the Halloween special “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” set to air on PBS and PBS KIDS stations.
The movie will air at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24. It is also available for streaming on Apple TV+.
The planned broadcast is the result of a partnership announced last year between Apple and PBS. The holiday specials “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will also air on PBS and PBS KIDS stations later this year.

In 2020, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” was available for streaming on Apple TV+, though unlike in previous years, it did not appear on broadcast television. That year, Apple announced a partnership with entertainment company WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions which made Apple TV+ the home of all things Peanuts.

Apple announced this week that it will also air a new holiday special for New Year’s Eve called “For Auld Lang Syne.” It will premiere Dec. 10 on Apple TV+.
“In the special, after the Peanuts gang experience a disappointing Christmas because Grandma can’t visit, Lucy resolves to throw herself the best New Year’s Eve party ever, while Charlie Brown struggles to accomplish just one of his resolutions before the clock strikes twelve,” Apple officials said in a news release.
