MORGANFIELD, Ky. — Police and animal control officers in Morganfield, Kentucky, are warning people about three wolf hybrids that are on the loose.
The Morganfield Police Department shared photos of the animals Wednesday, saying that the wolf hybrids are privately owned and escaped from their shelter and fencing.
The dogs, which are on the vicious dog list, are owned illegally, police told WFIE. Their owner, David Mills, has been charged with three counts of harboring a vicious animal and three counts of allowing a vicious animal to run at large, the station reported. Police said that should the animals attack any people or damage any property, more charges could be filed, WFIE reported.
Police said that they have alerted schools, day cares and rest homes to ensure that facilities keep people inside for their safety.
The animals are named Willenna, Yoki, and Akasha, WFIE reported.
