Seandell Holliday was shot in the chest by the public sculpture that is the centerpiece of the park, located in Chicago’s Loop, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead,

Holliday was identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office, according to the newspaper.

Police said two people were taken into custody for questioning, WFLD-TV reported. At least two weapons were recovered, police told the Chicago Tribune.

The shooting is the second this week near the iconic statue at the park, the Sun-Times reported. On Tuesday, a 19-year-old man was wounded by a bullet while riding in a car when someone fired shots, police said.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot said in a statement that Saturday’s fatal shooting was “utterly unacceptable” and there would be “additional actions” to prevent similar attacks from happening in the future.

“Tonight, a mother is grief-stricken, mourning the loss of her child and searching for answers,” Lightfoot said. “My heart is breaking for the mother as she grieves this unspeakable loss.”

Sculptor Anish Kapoor created The Bean, which is formally known as Cloud Gate. It was dedicated to the park on May 15, 2006, according to the Tribune.
