ITALY, Texas — A woman in Italy, Texas, is facing capital murder charges after three children were found dead and two others seriously injured in a house on Friday.
Shamaiya Dyonshana Hall, 25, was arrested Friday after investigators found the three children deceased and two injured inside a house in Italy, Texas, according to KTVT.
In a news release, the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office said that on Friday a child protective services worker went to the 300 block of Harris Street for a home visit. During the video, the worker decided to remove the children from the house. This is close to when the worker called 911 around 4 p.m.
Italy Police Department officers arrived at the house around five minutes later and the officer found five children who were critically injured. The sheriff’s office said that three children were dead inside the house -- a 6-year-old boy, and 5-year-old twins, a boy and a girl.
