Versailles, Kentucky — Multiple crews responded to the scene of a large fire at a bourbon warehouse facility in Kentucky, according to CBS affiliate WKYT.
One Jim Beam warehouse reportedly caught fire around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, possibly from a lightning strike, then the flames spread to a second warehouse.
Flames were still visible at least five hours after the fire started, and multiple agencies worked to put it out.
“Given the age of the lost whiskey, this fire will not impact the availability of Jim Beam for consumers," the company says.
