Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov was giving a speech Monday in the Turkish capital, Ankara, when a man wearing a suit and tie stood up, shouted and fired at least eight shots, according to an Associated Press photographer in the audience.
A Russian official later informed that Karlov was pronounced dead after being treated for multiple gunshot wounds.
