You can now make reservations for a visit to Kings Island

WARREN COUNTY — Kings Island is now accepting reservations for its reopening dates for Season Passholders.

There are new rules and guidelines that guests must follow before and during their visit.

Kings Island opens to Season Passholders only July 2 through 11. Season Passholders and all other guests will be able to visit beginning July 12, according to Kings Island’s website.

The amusement park, located in Mason, will allow a limited amount of people into the park to ensure proper social distancing.

Guests will need to make a reservation for a single day ticket through the park’s online reservation portal or the Kings Island mobile app.

A maximum of 14 people may be added to the reservation.

A health assessment questionnaire must be completed through the Kings Island app within 24 hours of a guest’s park visit, but only one questionnaire will be required for a group.

It will need completed for each visit to the park.

Groups that do not pass the health assessment will have to reschedule their visit.

Once guests are in the park, Season Passholders will need their Season Pass. All others will need their mobile or printed ticket beginning July 12.

Face coverings are required for guests 2 years old and older.

The park is now only accepting contactless payment methods including credit card, Apple Pay and Android Pay.

“Location Services” must also be enabled on the Kings Island app on at least one person’s phone among a group, so that the park can send real-time updates, according to the park’s website.

Hand sanitation stations have been added throughout the park.

According to King’s Island’s website, Season Passes may still be purchased and reservations may be made with a new Season Pass purchase.
