DAYTON — The Wright State Raiders had four players in double figures as they defeated the Bowling Green Falcons, 80-71, Tuesday night at the Nutter Center in Dayton.

Amari Davis led the Raiders with 19 points while Trey Calvin added 15. AJ Braun and Brandon Noel each scored 10 points. Noel also grabbed 11 rebounds. Calvin dished out eight assists.
Wright State shot 53% from the field, including over 62% in the second half. The Raiders improve to 2-1 overall.
They led by as much as 10 points in the first half, 32-22, but Bowling Green scored five straight points to make the halftime score, 32-27.
The Falcons took the lead, 39-38, after a jumper by Samari Curtis with 17:32 to play. But Calvin’s three-pointer put the Raiders up for good, 41-39.
Braun’s three-point play extended it 48-41 with 14:16 remaining.
Bowling Green stay within striking distance but could not get within four points.
Wright State’s next game will be Thursday night when they host Defiance at 7 p.m. at the Nutter Center.
