CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his play in the Bengals 27-12 win at the New York Jets on Sunday.

Hendrickson recorded four tackles, 2 1/2 sacks and forced two fumbles.
He was the only player to record two-or-more sacks and two forced fumbles in Week 3.
This is Hendrickson’s first career Defensive Player of the Week award and the first Bengal defensive end to win the award since Carlos Dunlap in Week 17 of 2019.
Hendrickson is also player from Florida Atlantic to win the award.
The Bengals beat the Jets for their first win of the season Sunday, 27-12.
Cincinnati will host Miami at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati tonight at 8:15 p.m.
The game will be televised on Amazon Prime.
