CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals have placed offensive tackle La’el Collins on the team’s Injured Reserve list, the Bengals announced Friday.

He suffered a left knee injury in the Bengals’ 22-18 win at New England on Christmas Eve.
Collins will be on the bench the rest of the season after his ACL was torn. He will be replaced by Hakeem Adeniji, according to our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati.
Cincinnati signed La’el Collins to a three-year contract in the offseason.
During the game on Christmas Eve, Patriots defensive tackle Devon Godchaux rolled onto the back of Collins’ left leg, which caused the injury, WCPO reports.
“I just remember someone flying in on my leg,” Collins told ESPN. “That was about it. It happened so fast.”
The Bengals will host the Buffalo Bills January 2 at Paycor Stadium for Monday Night Football.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m.
