Bengals QB Joe Burrow named FedEx Air Player of the Year

GLENDALE, AZ — Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was named FedEx Air Player of the Year at the NFL Honors 2023 Awards Thursday night in Glendale, Arizona.

He was one of three NFL quarterbacks nominated. The others were Josh Allen from the Buffalo Bills and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Burrow was named FedEx Air Player of the Week three times this season.

He passed for 4,475 yards and 35 touchdowns this past season and helped the Bengals to their second straight AFC North Division title for the first time in franchise history.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was named FedEx Ground Player of the year.

The NFL Honors recognizes the NFL’s best players, performances and players from the 2022 NFL season.

Kansas City and Philadelphia will play in this year’s Super Bowl Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
