Bengals QB Joe Burrow nominated for NFL’s FedEx Air Player of the Year

NEW YORK — Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is one of three NFL quarterbacks nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the year, the league announced Monday.

The other quarterbacks were Josh Allen from the Buffalo Bills and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. Both those teams are also in the NFL Playoffs.

Burrow completed 414 of 606 passes for 4,475 yards and 35 touchdowns this season.

Kansas City, Buffalo and Cincinnati will each be action in the AFC Division Playoff this weekend.

The Chiefs will host Jacksonville Saturday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. between the Chiefs and Jaguars.

The Bengals will play at the Bills Sunday afternoon at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.

News Center 7 will have coverage of the Bengals and Bills leading up to kickoff.

This includes the Orange Zone Sunday morning, January 22, at 11:30 a.m. with John Bedell and Larry Hansgen.

News Center 7′s Brandon Lewis will also provide live coverage from Orchard Park.

Kickoff between the Bengals and Bills is Sunday at 3 p.m.
