CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is expected to play in Sunday’s Week 12 game against the Titans, according to our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati.
>>ORIGINAL STORY: Injury to sideline Bengals star WR Chase for multiple weeks
“We’ll see how he’s feeling,” Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow said Wednesday in a news conference. “We expect him to play.”
Chase has been sidelined since the end of October due to a hip injury, WCPO reports.
“We’ll see how it goes the rest of the week,” Burrow said.
He was expected to be out four to six weeks, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Chase first suffered the injury in the game against the New Orleans Saints Oct. 16. But he aggravated it in a win over the Atlanta Falcons, according to Schefter.
The Bengals play the Tennessee Titans Sunday afternoon in Nashville, Tennessee in a rematch of January’s AFC Divisional Playoff game, Cincinnati won, 19-16.
Kickoff is at 1 p.m. You can watch the game on Channel 7.
