He is the Bengals record holder for most receptions in a single season in 2007 with 112 catches for 1,143 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Houshmandzadeh played alongside Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson and Chris Henry when the Bengals had one of the most prolific passing offenses in the NFL in the mid-to-late 2000s, WCPO said.
He played for the Bengals from 2001-2008, including one playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2005. They lost, 31-17, in Cincinnati.
Quarterback Carson Palmer was hurt in the game. The Steelers went on to win the Super Bowl.
