UD is a number one seed in the Top Left Bracket and will play Toledo. The game will be played at Toledo Wednesday night at 7 pm due to the UD Arena being unavailable due to the First Four Tuesday and Wednesday. The winner of that game will play the winner of four-seeded Vanderbilt and Belmont. The rest of the bracket includes three-seeded Florida and Iona and two-seeded Xavier against Cleveland State.

This will be the Flyers’ third NIT appearance in four years. They made it in 2019 and 2021 before losing in their opening round match-ups.
Dayton was the one of the last four teams left out in this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
