NEW YORK, NY — University of Dayton forward Toumani Camara is one of 283 players who have filed as early entry candidates for the 2022 NBA Draft. He has until June 1st to withdraw to maintain his college eligibility.

The NBA released its full list list of players Tuesday, the draft is June 23rd.
Camara started in 34 of Dayton’s 35 games this season and averaged 10.9 points per game and was the team’s leading rebounder with 6.9 boards per game. He was a third-team, all Atlantic 10 conference selection in his first season transferring from the University of Georgia.
In recent years, several Dayton Flyers have applied for early entry into the NBA Draft including Obi Toppin in 2019, Jalen Crutcher and Ibi Watson in 2020 and Charles Cooke in 2016.
Toppin was a first round selection by the New York Knicks, the eight overall pick, in the 2020 NBA Draft.
The Dayton Flyers went 24-11 this past season, finished tied for the second place in the Atlantic 10 and lost in the Second Round of the 2022 NIT.
