Sean and the Arizona program were the subject of an NCAA infractions investigation, centering around recruiting practices, according to the Associated Press.

Archie, Sean’s younger brother, was fired by Indiana University in March after only four seasons in Bloomington. Archie previously served as head coach at the University of Dayton for six seasons before taking the Indiana job in 2017.

Sean was also known in Dayton’s conference, the Atlantic 10, as head coach of Xavier University from 2004-09 while the Musketeers were still in the conference. Miller left Xavier after a very successful run in Cincinnati including an Elite Eight appearance in 2008. Sean took the Arizona job in 2009 replacing legendary coach Lute Olsen.

Sean exits Tuscon with a 302-109 record and two Elite Eight appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
