Ohio State QB Jack Miller enters NCAA transfer portal

COLUMBUS — Ohio State quarterback Jack Miller is transferring to a new school.

The redshirt freshman made the announcement on social media Sunday, saying that he was looking at opportunities that will give him more playing time.

“I will always love my brothers and my coaches and wish them great success, but for me it is time to get on the field,” Miller wrote in a tweet.

He thanked his coaches, saying they prepared him for the future.

According to our news partners at WBNS-TV, Miller was the Buckeyes’ third-string quarterback and played in four games.

Miller made headlines in early November after he was suspended from the team after being arrested and charges with OVI. He served a two-week suspension and was reinstated to the team after the charge was reduced to reckless operation.
