Ohio State falls to No. 5 in both AP and Coaches Top 25 polls after Michigan loss

COLUMBUS — The Ohio State Buckeyes fell to No. 5 in both the Associated Press and Coaches Top 25 polls after Saturday’s home loss to Michigan.

Georgia remains the No. 1 team in the country while Michigan moved up to No. 2 in both polls

TCU and USC are each ranked No. 3 and No. 4 in both polls while the Buckeyes round out the Top five in both.

Alabama moved up one spot to No. 6 in the Coaches poll and advanced two places in the AP poll.

The Buckeyes finish the regular season with an 11-1 record.

TCU and USC will play their conference regular season championship games this weekend. USC plays Utah on Friday night at 8 p.m. while TCU plays Kansas State Saturday at 12 p.m.

Ohio State will find out where they rank in the latest College Football Playoff rankings Tuesday night.

The final rankings will be released Sunday at 12 p.m.
