COLUMBUS — The Big Ten Conference announced the opponents for each school Thursday for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Ohio State’s 2024 season will include eight home games in Columbus. This includes the 120th all-time matchup against Michigan. The other four Big Ten games will be against Illinois, Iowa, Northwestern, and Rutgers. The Buckeyes will host Southern Mississippi, Western Michigan, and Marshall in non-conference games.

Their Big Ten away games will be at Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State, and UCLA.

The dates of the 2024 season will be announced later this fall.

The Big Ten also announced the elimination of divisions with 16 teams starting in 2024, which include the additions of UCLA and USC. They will play a nine-game conference season highlighted by a model that has every team playing every other conference opponent at least twice, home and away, in a four-year period.

Ohio State’s 2025 season starts August 30 when they host Texas at Ohio Stadium. In addition, USC will make its first visit to Columbus since 2009.

The rest of the Buckeyes’ 2025 home games include Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, UConn, and a non-conference opponent still to be announced.

Ohio State’s 2025 road schedule includes five Big Ten games. This includes Illinois, Michigan, Northwestern, Purdue, and Wisconsin.

The Buckeyes begin the 2023 season on September 2 at Indiana in Bloomington, Indiana at 3:30 p.m.

That game will be will broadcast on Channel 7 as part of the “Big Ten on CBS.” It will be the first of seven Big Ten games broadcast on CBS. The full season of traditional coverage is scheduled to begin in the 3:30 p.m. ET window in 2024.
