This is the third time that UD has made an NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach Shauna Green, they clinched the Atlantic 10′s automatic bid back in 2020 but both the Women’s and Men’s Basketball Tournaments were canceled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Flyers went 25-5 this season and this marks the 15th straight year that Dayton has made a postseason appearance.
The time of Wednesday night’s game between Dayton and DePaul will be announced later. UD leads the overall series with the Blue Demons, 10-7, and last played back in 2012.
