The Dayton Flyers have released the 2021 football schedule. UD opted out of the 2020-21 season due to the Covid-19 pandemic and will play six home games and five on the road this fall. All home games will be played at Welcome Stadium.

The Flyers will open the season with a pair of home games, September 4th against Robert Morris and September 11th hosting Eastern Illinois. Dayton’s first road game of the season will be at Southern Illinois in Carbondale, IL on September 18th.

UD’s first Pioneer Football League game will be on September 25th when they host new league member, Presbyterian. The Flyers will then play two straight PFL road games. They will be at Morehead State on October 2nd and in Drake on October 9th.
Dayton’s last four games of the season will alternate home and road games; Marist on October 16th, at Valparaiso on October 23rd, Butler on October 30th, at Stetson on November 6th and end the season hosting Davidson on November 13th.
The Flyers posted an 8-3 record in 2019. You can hear every Dayton Flyer football on the home of the Flyers; 1290 and 95-7, WHIO. It will also be broadcast online on WHIO.com.
