CHICAGO, IL — The Dayton Flyers won their third straight game Friday night in a 65-49 victory over the Loyola Chicago Ramblers at Gentile Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

DaRon Holmes II and Toumani Camara each had a big night for UD.
Holmes had a double-double; 20 points and 10 rebounds while Camara added 17 points.
The Flyers made 48% of their shots on 25-52 shooting from the field, including 11-14 from the foul line.
They held the Ramblers to just over 30% shooting, including 5-24 from three-point range.
UD improves to 18-9 overall, 10-4 in the Atlantic 10.

Dayton led from start to finish as they scored the game’s first five points on a layup by Holmes and three-pointer by Malachi Smith to go up, 5-0.
UD got a layup by Camara and dunk by Holmes to extend the lead to 23-12 with 4:58 left in the first half.
Camara’s basket right before halftime lifted the Flyer advantage to 28-20 at the break.
Dayton began the second half with Holmes and Smith scoring the first five points. Loyola got as close as eight points, 35-27, on a basket by Philip Alston with 16:57 to play.
UD outscored the Ramblers, 13-1, over a five minute-plus stretch to go up, 48-28 and they never looked back.
Mike Sharavjamts added eight points and five rebounds off the bench while Malachi Smith had six points and three assists. Kobe Elvis had seven assists for the Flyers.

Dayton’s next game will be Wednesday night when they travel to Amherst, Massachusetts to play the UMass Minutemen.
Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
