TRAFFIC ALERT: SB I-75 reopens after crash involving overturned box truck

MIAMISBURG — UPDATE @ 4:20 p.m.:

All lanes on southbound I-75 in Miamisburg has reopened after being shut down due to an overturned box truck.

Two people were transported to area hospitals with minor injures, according to the Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

INTIAL REPORT:

A crash involving an overturned box truck has blocked multiple lanes on southbound lanes of I-75 at the state Route 725 exit in Miamisburg.

The crash was reported around 2 p.m. involving a box truck that ended up on its side in the right lane, according to Ohio Department of Transportation cameras.

The left shoulder of the highway was opened after a brief closure of all lanes. Traffic is also being diverted off the highway at the state Route 725 exit.

It was not immediately known if any injuries were reported.
