Flights to and from Dayton canceled as snowstorm hits Chicago

DAYTON — A winter storm has led to 10 flight cancellations Friday night that were either headed to or from the Dayton International Airport.

In Chicago, nearly 800 flights were canceled at O’Hare International and Midway International airports as a snowstorm moved in.

In Dayton, six flights scheduled to arrive in Dayton were canceled. They included two American Airlines flights from Chicago, three United Airlines flights from Chicago and a Delta flight from Minneapolis.

The snow also led to the cancellation of four departures: a Delta flight to Minneapolis, a United flight to Chicago and an American flight to Chicago. In addition, an AA flight to Charlotte was delayed.
