LIVE UPDATES: Flood Advisory for parts of area after storms move through

MIAMI VALLEY — A Flood Advisory has been issued for Preble County in Ohio and Union and Wayne counties in Indiana until 4:30 a.m.

There are several chances for storms tonight and through the rest of the week, along with hot and muggy conditions, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Austin Chaney.

Tonight, we’ll track a chance for showers and storms this evening into tonight. The greatest severe weather risk will come to our southwest, but an isolated storm may be strong locally. Warm and muggy tonight with lows in the lower 70s.

Partly cloudy skies with another chance for showers and storms on Tuesday. Coverage may be limited, but locally heavy downpours and gusty winds are still possible. Hot with highs in the upper 80s.

Temperatures begin to heat up Wednesday with highs in the lower 90s and heat index values at 95+. Scattered storms and showers are also possible, according to Chaney.

A few showers and storms are possible again on Thursday with highs in the lower 90s. Heat Index 95+ possible. Then, Friday it will be staying unsettled and humid with a few showers and storms possible with highs in the upper 80s.
