Light snow showers possible tonight; Winter Weather Advisory issued for Sunday

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the following counties from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday: Butler, Clark, Clinton, Greene, Montgomery, Preble, Warren, Union, and Wayne (IN).

Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies and temperatures drop into the upper 20s. Light snow showers possible tonight, and towards daybreak.

Sunday: A low pressure system will pass to the south of Ohio Valley, bringing a likelihood for snow in the Miami Valley. Light snow will begin falling in the morning, and become steady by lunch time, and will fall heavy at times. Snow showers will then gradually taper off into the evening and overnight hours. Snow accumulations will likely range from 1-3" with the highest snow totals found towards the south. Highs will reach the lower to mid 30s.

Monday: A few morning flurries possible with wind chills in the single digits to start the day. Skies clear by the afternoon with highs near 20 degrees.

Tuesday: A very cold morning with wind chills below zero. Partly sunny skies for the afternoon with highs approaching 20 degrees.

Wednesday: Wind chills once again start below zero then mostly sunny with highs in the middle 20s.

Thursday: Increasing clouds and a chance for snow showers late with temperatures reaching the lower 30s.
