Power restored after more than 500 without power in Butler County

MIDDLETOWN — UPDATE @ 7:50 p.m.:

Power has been restored to the area, according to the Duke Energy outage map.

INITIAL REPORT:

More than 500 people are without power in Middletown.

Middletown Division of Police dispatch said that they aren’t sure what caused the outage and that power has been out in the area for most of the day.

They said Duke Energy has been notified and is working to restore power.

Middletown advises that traffic lights could be out in the area and if so, they said drivers should treat them as a four-way stop.
