Calling all Dayton are recording artists and groups

I’m very excited to announce the return of the Local Music Showcase to The Evening Edge on WHIO radio.

I’m looking for local artists to be featured every Friday night during the show. All music must be original and no cover songs will be accepted.

Any genre will be considered but all submissions must meet FCC requirements (no profane or lewd language) and be of broadcast quality. I like the sound of a gritty garage band as much as the next guy but it needs to be listenable on the air. This is your time to shine!

Here’s how it works:

• You send me an mp3 file of your music or a link where I can download the track (Bandcamp, Spotify, etc.)
• I’ll send you an “Unsigned Artist Agreement” which gives me permission to play your song on the air without compensation (ASCAP/BMI)
• Fill out the agreement and return it to me with a PHOTO and BIO and I will put you on the schedule
• During the week prior to your song airing on Friday, you share the info on social media
